Click Create API key. If it asks about a project, accept the default —
the free tier is plenty for JustFacts and requires no payment info.

Copy the entire key. It starts with AIza and is about 39
characters — a partial copy is the most common reason local news stays paused.

Tap Enter My Key below, paste the key under
Advanced Settings, and save. Your key is checked instantly, and local
stories start compiling within the hour.
Your key is stored only for your account and used solely to compile your personal local
and topic summaries. You can remove it anytime.
